ABOUT SCHOOL
DELHI MARTHOMA PUBLIC SCHOOL got established as a response to the need for education by the people in this locality. The school began with a Nursery class consisting of 20 students. In a short span of time we have achieved an incredible development and earned good reputation. Delhi Marthoma Public School, Pamgarh- Janjgir-Champa is owned and managed by the Northern India Zonal Assembly (NIZA), a registered educational and charitable society of Delhi Diocese of the Malankara Marthoma Syrian Church.

It is our belief that student's success starts with a well developed partnership between our school, our families and our community. We train our students to become independent, life-long learners and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to pursue their goals. We believe that every child in this school should always be growing and learning. It may happen at different levels but growing should happen. Every one of us defines living a good life in one way or the other. We have had the opportunity to successfully support the growth of our students and provide them with a pathway to Independence and Success. My dear friends, expecting to secure a good job without studying hard is like expecting to win a marathon without running it. Everyone has a talent and so do you. Pray, you will use that talent well. We are so blessed to have a beautiful school building and an excellent eco-friendly environment, but that alone cannot infuse the vision and passion that guides the school’s development. And I believe it is the human spirit and a happy interaction between teachers and students which will make the difference and ensure higher levels of learning in DMPS. Welcome to the DMPS family! Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our Delhi Marthoma Public School-Pamgarh Community. Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens in the home, between home and school too. The home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners. Our staff is working hard to prepare engaging and rewarding learning experiences for all students. At DMPS-Pamgarh, shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. We aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global world. We place high value on our partnership with parents, families, and community. We consider it a privilege to work with our kids every day to help them be their very best selves. We believe that each and every student has a gift to share with the world, and we work hard to unlock their highest potential. We have high expectations of our students, and we have high expectations of ourselves to help all DMPS-Pamgarh students learn and grow into well-rounded citizens and critical thinkers. DMPS-Pamgarh aims to develop leadership skills, social and emotional skills, and academic skills to prepare students for success not only in middle school but also in high school, career, relationships, and life-long learning. The developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children provides all the areas of a child's development; physical, social, emotional and cognitive. DMPS-Pamgarh students will be taught to view themselves as learners and to think about what it looks like to be a good learner and thinker. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are as important as content knowledge to help student be successful in middle school, help them understand what is required of them to be a good learner inside and outside of the classroom. Talk about qualities and learning behaviors such as: taking positive risks, viewing errors as opportunities, working to recover from a mistake, giving and receiving feedback, asking questions, collaborating with peers, setting goals, planning with a purpose, and tracking their own progress. Students need both high challenge and high support to grow as learners, and we look forward to helping students maximize their growth at DMPS-Pamgarh.
